About the vineyard

The Duarte Georgetown vineyard is a high elevation vineyard planted at 2,500' in a remote area of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Developed by John and Alexandra Duarte in 2002 with a focus on red vanities (over 30 clones of Cabernet Sauvignon alone), the vineyard has red soils, perfect heat summation and is planted 8 x 4 VSP. The vineyard harvests late and produces an extraordinary and intense mountain wine. Sustainability certified.
